what does he think he's doing with that light fixture?

Mick Jagger should have played Fitzcarraldo fully and completely forever down in history. yes I said it.

I'm hoping someone can ring a bell for me. There was a documentary discussed somewhere on here about a guy who did Jackass-esque stunts and had his own independent show (it was before anything like Jackass existed). He's well known for a video of him falling from a ladder near a pool, missing the pool, and knocking himself out/getting seriously injured. In this documentary, he's much older and decides to revisit his past. I know someone here knows what I'm taking about.

BEFORE THERE WAS JACKASS... BEFORE THERE WAS TOM GREEN...
THERE WAS RALPH ZAVADIL.

His cable access television show, The Cap'n Video Show, ran from 1990 to 1995, spawning a small but loyal cult following. Each week Ralph performed a series of idiotic and occasionally dangerous stunts, challenging the sensibilities of his small Southern Ontario audience. With the advent of the internet and reality television still years away, his unique brand of gross-out stunt comedy was truly ahead of its time. All it took was a broken neck for him to get noticed.

my buddy played a show with this guy a while back... seemed like a pretty nice, knowledgeable cat. his own compositions are a little silly (name-dropping Will Oldham in the title etc.) but this video betrays an appreciation for craft/history that is difficult to ignore:

For a second, I thought I read X-Man (the pornographic Atari game). I got excited.
