Dennis Hopper died today. I know it has been preached to death here but he really was a true talent and the fact that Out of the Blue is not even on DVD is a fucking insult. He was also an excellent photographer and artist.

Really just a sad day. He was the person who made me want to be a filmmaker after I first saw American Dreamer.

on 4/25/05 I got Out of the Blue from Netflix. It is not available anymore from netflix, but it was at some point; so it has to have been given a dvd release.

A great artist.

For a long time I was completely enamoured with one of his paintings. I can't find it online right now but I have it at home so I'll post it later.
