I wish she would stop doing all these bloody remakes. Not that i've seen any of the ones shes done, when I consider it.

I do like that Funny Games poster though.

That Funny Games poster is one of my favorites. I just love it. The photo is perfect and the type compliments it very well. One of the better posters designed by Crew Creative http://www.crewcreative.com/

Do you think this image makes a decent poster at all. I want to take a still frame from my movie and make a poster out of that, but I am having a hard time taking a single frame from an AVI file and blowing it up to 27x40 inches for a full size poster and not pixelate too much.

So, this is just a random production photo I had on my computer. I found it and let somebody with photoshop put the title at the top. I don't like the font right now. But just the image itself ... would it make a bad poster?

It doesn't tell you anything about the movie, and it may not make anybody want to see the movie just from the poster. But it makes sense in retrospective. After one has seen the movie, they like the poster.

It looks a little . . . unmemorable? I'd say go with your original idea. There are ways around getting the blocky pixel look. If you can find a good still, and then make something like this --

That might work out well. I like posters like that, where the titles are separate from the pictures. I guess it's just sort of a classic look. That poster, as it is now, looks like it was lifted from the kid's myspace page.

Just a suggestion. Ultimately it's up to you.

Yeah, I agree completely with what you are saying. I'm still going to work on blowing up a still from the film. This was just a production photo I found that will scale up to big size.
