i know the type. they are rampant in south mississippi too. it's weird here because its the deep south but its somewhat "urbanized", so you get this weird type of human that enjoys only two things: gangster rap and country western. i guess both lifestyles are sympathetic to the date rapist lifestyle that most of them live. its a strange type. it always reminds of of harmony talking about how people in small towns have to come up with their own idea of being hip because theyre cut off from the outside world. where it really gets strange to me is when those people become active online.
i like where you're going though. i have an idea that is kind of similar to the "prince of the town" idea. it is about a druggie who goes through vignettes with different types of characters. the idea was about how when you're into drugs you end up hanging out with a broad range of different types of people because you basically hang out with anyone who has drugs.
i'd watch your film if you made it.
