Last year, it was revealed that Harmony Korine and Val Kilmer were to collaborate on a short film based around a motivational speaker to be played by Kilmer and directed by Korine. A short video from the set was put onto YouTube a while after the announcement, we were privvy to a few promotional images from the short film entitled “Lotus Community Center” and Kilmer answered a few questions regarding the piece on his personal Tumblr page. Since then information has been scarce but the Tribeca Film Festival today posted up this year’s selections and the Korine/Kilmer film will be in competition in the “Viewpoint” section.

The film is a part of a three-part collaboration entitled The Fourth Dimension and will screen between April 18-29. Read below what the site had to say about the film.

The Fourth Dimension, directed by Harmony Korine, Alexey Fedorchenko, and Jan Kwiecinski, written by Harmony Korine, Alexey Fedorchenko, Jan Kwiecinski, Oleg Loevsky, and Yaroslava Pulinovich. (USA, Poland, Russia). A motivational speaker named Val Kilmer (played by Val Kilmer) delivers a sermon at a roller rink. A Russian scientist builds a time machine in his apartment. Four friends stumble upon an abandoned village in the Polish countryside. All are in search of the fourth dimension—whether they know it or not. Weird, ominous, cool, compelling: These three short films could only be inspired by the creative vision of Harmony Korine and Vice Media’s Eddy Moretti. In English, Polish, Russian with subtitles.
