Screen Daily provide more news of Mister Lonely on their website, saying, "60s icon Anita Pallenberg is to play the Queen Of England, Denis Lavant will portray Charlie Chaplin, Samantha Morton is Marilyn Monroe and Diego Luna will play a Michael Jackson impersonator." The budget is given as $9.5 million and filming is to take place in the north of Scotland, France and French Guyana. Marcel Zyskind (Code 46, 9 Songs) is also confirmed as cinematographer, and Avi Korine, Harmony's brother, is co-writer of the screenplay.
